8. Use of the API and Automated Access

The data endpoints that power DXLook (including all paths under https://dxlook.com/api/) exist solely to operate the DXLook website and its official applications. They are not a public API and are not offered for general third-party use.

DXLook aggregates data from public amateur-radio and space-weather sources (see Section 7). This clause governs access to our own service and endpoints, not the underlying public datasets. Those datasets remain freely available from their original providers, and anyone who wants the data should obtain it directly from those sources rather than through DXLook's endpoints or infrastructure. We may rate-limit, restrict, or block any access we consider excessive, automated, or inconsistent with normal use of the website, and we may change or remove endpoints at any time without notice.
